This publication was written as a special 85th birthday tribute in honor of Dayton O Hyde’s inspiring story of a life spent making dreams come true. He has set the example throughout his life of dynamic accomplishments – of making seemingly impossible dreams reality.

What is so great about his life is that he has inspired so many others to make important contributions too. He has showed us that with

stubborn determination, the only chance of real success is the courage to keep trying.....

In addition to this publication we are also honoring him as the founder of the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary at a premiere of Imagine A Place, a wonderful new 30 minute DVD that follows the lives of six of Dayton’s favorite wild mustangs. Meet their friends, see what they like to do and where they like to hang out along with breath taking scenics of the Cheyenne River Canyon and the vast sanctuary prairie lands. Director/Editor

Christopher Crosby and Producer Karla R. LaRive have added a

haunting sound tract of indigenous native American flute

music that captures the emotions of how we all feel

watching these magnificent wild animals running free

before us. One hour of highlights from a typical

two- hour visit to the Sanctuary are included as a

bonus. This DVD is a must have for anyone who

loves wild horses and a reminder that there are

positive solutions to wild horse management

problems right here on our place. It is

available at www.wildmustangs.com and

through our gift shop, 605-745-5955,

The Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary is home to more than 500 living, breathing,

snorting, stampeding wild horses. Dayton dreamed of it and made it happen.

Thousands of people have donated funds, visited, volunteered, and enjoyed

purchases from our gift shop that have all helped it succeed. Would you like to

be part of the dream too? Contact us today..we’ll be glad to tell all the different

ways you can be included. Email: iram@gwtc.net
